Mocha Bagel, Kilkenny

Larkin's Bar, Garrykennedy
Great beer, good food. Had a very nice bangers and mash. Music in the toilets was interesting. Top spot for the boaties. Other diners raved about their burgers and pork belly.

Mountshannon Hotel Bar

The Red Cow Moran's Hotel
I had a meeting in Moran's yesterday morning and I have to say, it still is a fine hotel. Full Irish was top notch - maybe a little pricey at €10.

Mint Restaurant
An unsatisfying mix of excellent food and wine with haphazard service and crazy pricing. The most expensive meal we're ever had but sadly not the best. Regular readers of the blog know that I was blown away by the documentary on Dylan McGrath...

The Poacher's Inn
This pub+restaurant has come on hugely since the new owners took over. I love having a great local place so near to us that understands seafood.
